Emily was the daughter of Robert Cole and Loretta Branam. She was the middle child of three children and had an older sister named Amanda and a younger brother named Robert. She graduated from high school in 2010 and met her love and soulmate Christepher Ledford in 2014 and dated for 4 years and married him on May 19 2018 at Norris Dam State Park in Rocky Top Tennessee near where her family on both parents' sides lived.

Her favorite colors were pink, purple, blue, and yellow. Her favorite music artists were Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift. She was a Christian and used her faith in Jesus throughout life to help and guide her. She loved to sing, dance, paint, color, and read many genres of books mainly in Historical Fiction, Mystery, and Contemporary usually. She had a loving, caring, sassy, and honest personality and loved kids and animals. Her favorite flowers were Daises and roses and she loved antiques and old fashioned things. She was loved by many people and will be sorely missed.
