Bio

I was raised most of my life in Conroe, Montgomery County. Texas. I immediately went to work in the Oil and Gas Industry. I first worked for The Superior Oil Company in the Drilling Department. I would take drilling reports by shorthand from offshore rigs. I would type them up on a teletype and distribute them to other companies who owned a joint interest in the well. From there I went to the Production Department where I typed up Authorization for Expenditures (AFE's as we called them) for wells that needed repair. I left The Superior Oil Company and went to work for Anadarko Production Company working with AFE's. Later Anadarko Production Company was spun off by its parent company Trans Eastern Pipeline and became Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Six months after my hire date I was promoted to Offshore Exploration Manager Secretary. I worked for a group of Geologists and Geophysicists. They would use seismic data and logs to correlate a potential site to drill for oil in Offshore Texas or Offshore Louisiana. Later I made a move to Offshore Land Manager Secretary where I managed the documentation of all Operating Agreements, all Joint Bidding Agreements and all Farm-Out Agreements. I also typed all Offshore Texas and Offshore Louisiana Bid Checks for the Offshore Texas and Lousiana Offshore Lease Sales. I left a job I loved to stay at home with my children. My daughter was 5 years and my son was 6 months. Later I went to work for the school district where my children attended school. I took a job at the high school, which was in their school's feeder pattern. My daughter graduated and acquired her Associates Degree at Jacksonville Baptist College in Jacksonville, Texas. I have two grandsons and a granddaughter from my daughter and her husband. My son graduated and acquired his Bachelor's Degree in University Studies, Minor in Business & Secondary Education at Texas A&M University. He started teaching high school physics, chemistry and stem academy. He has since acquired an Associate in Process Technology and is no longer teaching high school science, he works for a Chemical Plant. I have one grandson from my son and his wife My husband is a retired police officer from Little Elm, Texas. I worked for the University of North Texas in Denton Texas while he was employed in Little Elm. After his retirement, we moved back to the area where we both grew up. I worked for Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, I have since retired.
