I long enjoyed the history, family connections and solitude found in a cemetery. I would hike a couple of miles with friends to our small town rural Alberta cemetery and have a picnic and wander the cemetery recognizing some of the names of our district. My interest in genealogy and the tales of the lives of people who lived before thread us together as earth citizens and provide us the opportunity to reflect on the valued relationships which are the foundation of living on earth.
I was involved in storytelling, gardening, reading, volunteering at the historical village, researching graves in a local cemetery where I volunteered to give walking tours of the cemetery.
I added a steward for my contributions in January 2022.
