Bio

Rick Becka was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from high school in New Providence, New Jersey. Rick joined the United States Air Force the day after graduation. After serving 4 years with the USAF, Rick was attracted to Cocoa Beach, Florida in June 1966 because of the space program and started work at the Cape immediately after leaving the USAF. Rick met his soul mate, Kay Collins in Cocoa Beach and married her in December 1966. Rick received a BS and a Masters degree, thanks to a hard working wife and the Air Force. Joined the Air Force again in 1969 as an officer. Five years after marriage, Jon was born. Rick retired from the USAF in Albuquerque, New Mexico after serving 20 years and started a company named Management Systems Analysis in 1986, which dealt with the aerospace industry. Retiring to Tennessee he has enjoyed hiking; scuba diving; motorcycles; and skiing. Presently lives in East Tennessee with Kay since 1999.
