Just a new guy trying to "reconcile" our family documents with what I see on here. I will make every attempt to be courteous and polite. It's like living in a dorm, ya know? I have tried my absolute best to read and understand all the FAQs. There is always a learning curve. My area of interest is very limited: family names of Tyre, Cowart (sometimes Coward) and McIntosh. The geographic range is also very limited: Coastal Georgia, and some into the very Northern parts of Florida. Sometimes it is referred to as "wiregrass". Time frame starts from 1733/35 to present. If I make a mistake, please let me know ASAP and how to correct it.

I just don't want to offend anyone!
