I am a funeral Arranger/Crematory Operator/EDRS Specialist in the Oakland Ca Bay Area. I have been in the funeral industry for the past 37 years, and the number continues to climb. I'm pleased to say that I graduated high school mid-term in 1993 from Vallejo Sr. High School in Vallejo Calif. 1991-1993 were the best years of the 1990s for me. In 1986 I started my career at Cooley & Riolo Mortuary which was the only African American-owned Funeral Home in all of Solano Co. I graduated from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have the degree for Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) 2009 with a Concentration in Administration with a (3.79 GPA) June 17, 2011, graduated from the same college and hold the degree of (MSM) Masters of Science with a concentration in Management with a (3.63 GPA) and June 15, 2012, graduated with the Degree of Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management (MBA) with a (3.74 GPA) I am a well-rounded individual in the funeral industry with a vast amount of experiences in directing, arranging various funeral and cremation services. I am a certified crematory operator with certifications from Therm-Tec Industries and the Association of Calif Cremationist (ACC). I have experience in working in both independent and cooperative sectors of the funeral industry. I have 10+ years in crematory operations and 25+ years as a funeral/cremation service director as well as directing funeral services. I am also Electronic Death Registry System (EDRS) certified as of November 2009 by the Ca Dept of Public Health in Sacramento Ca.
