I have been interested in family history since I was young. My grandmother gave me old family photos which I finally was able to add to my Ancestry.com page years later. The history in cemeteries is interesting and we tend to visit cemeteries when we travel.

Now that I am retired from teaching I am finally able to enjoy researching my family history and sharing it with other members of the family. I want to research as much as I can so that my grandchildren know where they came from and the people who were important in the past. My husband and I have traveled to Europe, Asia, Canada, and Central America. I also enjoy gardening, growing violets and handcrafts.
