My parents did genealogy research as a hobby, and over a period of years of research (prior to computers) produced the documentation to certify my Mom as a descendant of the Mayflower Pilgrim Edward Doty. I checked Find a Grave to see if their documentation could be verified, and linkage from my Mom to Edward Doty is already established here! That has inspired me to get involved and establish my virtual cemetery. I am retired from the U.S. Army, and after the Army I was a defense contractor for 12 years. I moved to Voss, Texas in 2016 to enjoy the country life. My son died at age 31 and I made a cemetery and memorial for him at my ranch. I visit him almost daily and appreciate how important a cemetery and memorial stone are for loved ones and relatives. My wife and I will be buried next to him some day.
