Bio

I love the world of genealogy. I love the research and making connections to my relatives who lived before me. I've been actively working on my genealogy for about 40 years. I remember the enjoyment of spending a couple of days, many years ago, in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City going through files and microfiche locating family members and learning more about the history of my family and my husband's family. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Married a minister and traveled the world in missions and pastoring churches, or working with drug addicted young people through the ministry of Teen Challenge in Los Angeles and Chicago, and the many years of working for CBN - the 700 Club and Operation Blessing in Atlanta, Georgia. We were married 47+ years when he died suddenly. Fourteen years later I have married again, live in California, and now have another family to incorporate into my research. I am especially interested in working within the framework of my extended family names of Alexander, Blythe, Brown, Canon, Cartana, Curtis, Duerksen, Easterling, Enyart, Gifford, Higdon, Horton, Jacobson, Lenning, Long, Madasz, Martin, McCulloch, Oates, Reimer, Reinholm, Schultz, Sierra, Tedford, Trager/Traeger, Turnbough, several branches of Wilsons, and Jasper Newton Young. I do not post anything that I can't document and I'm strict on correct spelling and dates. It hurts my heart to see loved ones on Find A Grave that have no one with them. No connection with parents, spouses, or children. They are all alone. I want to help locate their parents and families. If you are a family member of a loved one on Find a Grave and would like to manage their memorial, please send me a request to Transfer Management. If I can be of assistance to you, please contact me at my listed Email Contact address. God bless you.
