Bio
Over the years, I've always had an interest in family roots but have not actively pursued it. However, circumstances changed, and in 2016, my aunt (my dad's sister-in-law) who was managing my father's family's tree was interested in diving in to her family's tree. I have taken over those responsibilities and what an amazing, challenging job it's been.
My father's family (the descendants of my great-great-grandparents M.L. & Christina Cavallin of Olivia, TX) get together every summer for a Reunion. I have the honor and pleasure of heading up the Reunion and managing our Family Tree. Cousins from all branches attend - we are so blessed to have such a wonderful, close family.
My father's grandparents gave us an incredibly special gift - double cousins. My great-grandfather Peterson's older brother married my great-grandmother Cavallin's older sister. The descendants of those two special marriages have given us the blessing of double cousins for four going on five generations of Peterson offspring - Petersons, Abrahams, Griffiths, Burkes, Oehlerts, DeBords and Taylors.
Family research interests include Peterson & Cavallin (Olivia TX & Sweden), Sanchez (Los Saenz TX & San Buenaventura MX), and Cohrs (MN & TX), for now.
If I have added burial records for your immediate family, I am happy to turn over the management of those records - just shoot me a message.
