Born and raised in Niagara Falls NY to a Polish American father and mother of mixed Swedish and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. Recent years in Colorado. While in Europe this year, the region of my Polish grandparents is Galicia in Poland, and my mother's father from a forested area probably east of Gotenburg, Sweden. Gotenburg for that region is the most likely port of departure for the US. I served in the Navy in Vietnam as a Hospital Corpsman and later became a computer programmer, then a Registered Nurse.
