Hi. I'm William Derek Williams, known as Derek and I live in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. I am semi-retired and was born on 31st October, 1951. I am married to Rosslyn (Ros) Joan Williams, nee Searle and have one son, Bryn, born 16th February, 1981, a Corporal in the Royal Air Force.
My father, William Alwyn Desmond Williams (k a Alwyn), was born 8th June 1928, died 11th August, 2013 and my mother, Mabel Patricia Williams (k a Pat), born 17th April, 1927, died 29th July 2014.
My paternal great uncle, James Henry Williams, born 7th April, 1897, died 8th May, 1949, emigrated to Wood Dale, Illinois, USA, between the world wars. I know of descendants by the name of Dietz, in the same area.
