Bio

Retired in 2008 and don't have a lot of hobbies or much to do during the days. My son and I started our family tree about 2012 and it was a hit and miss finding records on our own relatives and adding wrong people to the tree before becoming a little better at reviewing and comparing records to make profile updates.

I love puzzles and am fairly adept at detail work so then became a bit better at what to look for and how to find and match records to people. Helps keeping the mind (very!) active trying to piece some of the old records together when many of the census records contain varying info regarding name, place & dates of birth, age etc. Then realized Find A Grave was a great place to piece some of the records/individuals together.

Started to make corrections and additions to Find A Grave memorials and really enjoy trying to get all the correct and complete data in place. If I had a good iPhone (and knew how to use one!) I'd love to be a volunteer but with winter coming on that'll have to wait to next spring and getting a decent camera.
