If you have a question concerning the photo on a memorial - click on the photo and read the caption. Please update your photo requests - if there is a problem or request for additional info - take care of it. If it can't be fixed, or if the grave is designated as unmarked, delete the request or ask for an area photo. You are welcome to use any photo taken by us for any non-commercial purpose.

NOTE - When using the clecem.org website - do not assume the number given in the age column represents years - it may be days, weeks, months or 0/-1 for no information - click view and CHECK.

CALVARY CLEVELAND NOTES: only a couple of the hundreds of volunteer photographers listed as living near the cemetery actually take photos here - thus, 6,100+ requests (it was 1,699 when we started in 2017 - a losing battle). Other observations - based on 20,000+ photos: 5-10% of graves located in LOTS are unmarked. If the grave is in a LEVEL, ROW or RANGE (side by side single burials in chronological order) the number of unmarked graves is considerably higher. Raised markers and monuments are mostly found on LOTS in Sections 3-13, 20-24, 30-42, 54-58, sometimes elsewhere. Sections numbered above 58 (except 73, 75, 78 and 81 which generally have 6/8" markers) have mostly flat, usually overgrown markers which do not photograph well without assistance (trimming, digging, brushing etc). Although flat markers are common in the Sections noted above, such markers can be found in any Section and are normally the rule in ROWS and LEVELS (if there is a marker and it is not buried - i. e. see (56812762). Calvary buries 2 deep - 2 people (more if cremations and re-burials are involved) can have the same grave number. No central Mausoleum or Columbarium, but family mausoleums and freestanding columbariums are scattered throughout the cemetery.
