Bio

I have been into genealogy for many, many years (over 25 ... but who's counting) and a member of Find A Grave for the last several. I became more interested in taking photos after I was visiting a rural cemetery in Louisiana and located the grave of my granduncle (who died when he was but a small child while his parents were traveling to Oklahoma) quite by accident. Seeing his stone in that condition (broken and almost hidden by dirt and grass) made me realize the importance of documenting the last monuments to our families, extended as they may be sometimes.

TRANSFER REQUESTS: Should you see someone that is a member of your family and want their memorial transferred to your account just ask me. If I am not also related I will consider the request. (I will consider transfer requests that are outside the Find A Grave guidelines on a case by case basis.)

When requesting a transfer please use the SUGGEST EDIT button on the individual's memorial page then select the 'Suggest other corrections' option about three-quarters of the way down the page. Please give your Find A Grave contributor number AND how you are related to the individual.

PHOTOS REQUESTS: Permission is hereby granted to copy and reuse pictures of any grave marker that I have taken and posted on this site as long as they ARE NOT posted to a for-profit site or used in ANY commercial endeavors.
