I currently serve as the Senior Vice Department Commander, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Department of New Jersey. I am a Past Commander of the Col. Louis R. Francine Camp #7, headquartered in Hammonton, NJ. I became involved with Find A Grave initially to create a convenient way to access my ancestors' final resting places. I have since expanded my efforts to focus on documenting and memorializing veterans of the Civil War. I also create memorials for friends and acquaintances I discover that have not been added to Find A Grave, or to fill in overlooked deceased that I happen upon in my cemetery travels.
