The Baha'i Faith has been represented in Nevada County since the 1950s and a number of Baha'is are buried in various cemeteries throughout the area. Our virtual cemetery is a way to honor our loved ones through both virtual and physical visits. In April 2014, we honored them with a service project by locating and visiting 13 graves in six different cemeteries. We tidied them, placed roses on them, photographed them, and offered prayers for the progress of these radiant souls.
