My name is Ken McChessney from East Freedom, Blair Co. PA. I have been researching my family tree since 1977, when I 1st saw the TV show "ROOTS". As of Aug. 2015, I am 56 yrs old. I am married with one son.
My parents, Warren E. & M. Mae (Holsinger) McChessney have past away over 12 yrs ago. My father was the 1st child from my grandfather's 2nd marrage. Charles A. McChessney was married 1st to Ethel R. Dugan & then to my grandmother, E. Ethel Shadle.
They had 17 children total.
If possible I can help others in there research of the Blair & Bedford Cos. in south central PA. I might not have all of the answers, But I'll try my best.
