Greetings,

We are a class of eighteen freshman students at Clarion University of Pennsylvania who are currently active in an Introduction to Service Learning course. In this course we aim to: understand the value of active membership in a civic group, contribute personal skills and values to a group or membership in order to enhance the common principles of that particular group or membership, develop life and professional skills while working in a community setting, gain a sense of commitment to future involvement within a community setting, and develop skills needed to work effectively within a group environment.

Here at Find-A-Grave we are working on contributing images of grave-sites for individual persons within the Clarion County Cemetery, in Clarion Pennsylvania. Through this we hope form a bridge between the local Clarion community and the university community, and to learn more about our town’s local history.
