Bio

I was born January 27, 1958 in Big Spring, TX. I am divorced and child-free.
Although I was raised Protestant, I became a confirmed Catholic July 2001 by Bishop Michael Pfeifer, O.M.I. (San Angelo Catholic Diocese).
I received a BA in Business Administration (2006) and Master's in Public Administration (2008) from Angelo State University. I retired during the 2020 Covid Pandemic.
I enjoy Texas State Parks, my cozy cottage near the South Concho River and studying topics found repeatedly in scripture. I also have a heart for dogs, especially Miniature Schnauzers.
My mother is Virginia Frances Blackwell-Garrett from Chalk Bluff, TX. She is the daughter of Jeffie Virginia Shaw-Blackwell and Edward Pinkney Blackwell.
My father is Parnell Garrett (WWII US Navy veteran) from Rock Creek (Waco), TX. He is the son of Luna Beatrice Webb-Garrett & Harper Mack Garrett. My parents were married 54 years.
After my father died in 1989, my mother married Roy Elbert Keefer from Odessa, TX.
My brother is Jerry Parnell Garrett (US Army veteran).
My sister is Cornelia Rae Garrett Anderson-Parker (aka: Neeli).
