I am a decendant of Julius Floyd and Mary E. (Barber) Strickland. The great grand daughter of Leander Walton Strickland and Mary Frances "Fanny" Wood Strickland. Most all my family are buried around Strickland Town and Alvaton Meriwether County Georgia. I was born and raised in Luthersville, Meriwether Co. Georgia, my parents still live there to this day. My father Charles Luther Strickland Jr. age 74 still tells many stories of the family as he remembers them from his child hood. Edna Mae Leach's father was John Ison Leach and mother was Cora Edna Mae Leach.
