Taught high school for 41 years in Calvert County Maryland. Taught part time at Charles County Community College now Southern Maryland College for 21 years. Taught mostly history and psychology courses. Worked during summers writing social studies curriculum for Southern Maryland, Charles, Calvert and St Mary's counties. Worked on numerous digs and was the Maryland State Director of the Gifted and Talented Dig Center for Southern Maryland. Life member of the Achaeological Society of Maryland, National Speleological Society, The Robertson Association, The Washington Buddhist Vihari and The Sons of The Confederate Veterans. Was a member of the NEA, MSTA and CEA teacher organizations. Was a CEA negotiator for teacher salaries for many years and was President of the Calvert Education Association. He was a MSTA and NEA delegate for many years. He is a member of many historic preservation groups. Sells art, books and collectibles in Boonesboro and Hagerstown.
