My name is Kavin Johnson and I am a native of Horry County, South Carolina. I grew up on my family's farm in the Bayboro Community before attending college at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. After graduating from SCSU in 1989 I married and lived in Orangeburg for eleven years before moving to Stafford, Virginia. I am my family's historian and enjoy keeping the members of my family updated on facts related to our heritage. I am familiar with many of the people from the Bayboro Community which have interment in Silver Star Cemetery and family members who have interment in the Mount Rona Cemetery outside of Loris, South Carolina. I am related to the Stanley family on my mother's lineage and the Johnson family on my father's lineage. As a youth, I was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Bayboro and lived about a half mile from Silver Star Cemetery in Bayboro.
