Bio

Now that I am retired, I enjoy history, genealogy, and traveling. I currently reside in Jefferson county, Missouri.

Pre-1776 direct line surnames, not mentioned earlier, that I have high confidence in are: Allen, Allgar, Alvord, Argal, Baker, Barham, Barron, Bartlett, Bemis, Benjamin, Bent, Bigelow, Billings, Blanchard, Bray, Bright, Brigham, Burrows, Busby, Carwithy, Church, Coleman, Cooper, Corwin, Culver, Dennis, Eddy, Fellows, Filmer, Flagg, Fosten, Frost, Fulham, Galley, Goldstone, Goodenow, Grout, Hagar, Hammond, Hapgood, Hawks, Haynes, Higginson, Hopkins, Howe, Hurd, Jones, Litchfield, Livermore, Long, Makin, McNeely, Nash, Nichols, Osborne, Porter, Ramsey, Ravens, Reynolds, Rice, Rogers, Ross, Scarlett, Scott, Sherman, Stanborough, Stebbins, Stone, Treadway, Tuttle, Vore, Vessey, Wadsworth, Warren, White, Whitney, Whiting, Wilcox, Wines, Wingfield, Wood, Woodgate. (The majority of these settled in New England, with a few Virginians as well.)

Note: Many of my family photos have been copied into Ancestry.com. I don't have a problem if they are used by family members in their family trees. Unfortunately some take them and use them for non-related individuals, that can't possibly be the same person. Please don't misuse these photos.
