Bio

Daughter of Ronald Gilbert Willett (Major, USAF, Ret, Dec) and Geraldene (Larsen) Willett.

Graduated from Lincoln HS, in Lincoln Arkansas in 1975.

I joined the AF in 1979 as a Personnel Technician and after training, was stationed at Barksdale AFB LA for 4 years, where I met my future husband. Served a year Special Duty at the Univ of Ark on the ROTC staff. Then after marriage to TSgt Eric Paul Bodoin, (Cajun), was reassigned (join-spouse) to Lowry AFB, Denver CO. I spent 5 years in Denver, basically pregnant the entire time with our 3 daughters, separated from the AF with my 2nd pregnancy in 1986. Spent 4 years at Ramstein AB, Germany, then we were reassigned to Andrews AFB MD. My husband was transferred to the Pentagon for a few years, them retired from the AF in 1997.

Now divorced, I live in Tennessee near my 3 grandchildren from our oldest daughter, Erika Laurin (Bodoin) Ebel, (who also served in the AF at Keflavik AB, Iceland). We have 2 other daughters who live on the east coast in Maryland, close to where they went to college at Salisbury University. My middle daughter, Alyssa Marie (Bodoin) Nealey, lives with her husband in Ocean City, MD., currently finishing up her Masters in Psychology. My youngest daughter, Joie Elise Bodoin, lives with her long-time boyfriend in Baltimore MD, using her degree teaching at a private school there.

Unfortunately, I am now disabled due to the effects of Syringomyelia. I had one surgery in 2009 to insert a shunt into my spinal cord and am procrastinating a second surgery to un-tether my spinal cord from scar tissue. Needless to say, I do my research on surgeons!
