Bio

Beginning shortly after the death of my Father in 1990 I became more and more interested in geneaology. Now, a few years into my retirement, I find that I can afford to spend a few hours to research, process and contribute to my amazingly rich family history.
My Fathers family line (Wind) emigrated from Denmark and my Mothers (Lawson) from England. As with all families, the girls married and names changed, bringing in new relatives.
A huge amount of geneaology has been done on my Danish Heritage by my Aunt Jeanette Golladay Larsen whose book I constantly refer to for information.
The Menard County (Illinois) History book is a rich source of information on my English Heritage but our Golladay Family genealogist is Walter D Golladay and he is the "go to" source for solid family information.
As I continue to work my family tree on Ancestry.com, I marvel at the interwoven facts and families that change over time. With the support and assistance of my wife Crystal I learn more each day.
I am closely related to each of the findagrave's I manage. When you request a Management Transfer, please state who you are and your relation to the deceased person using the "Edit" tab.
