Find a Grave ID

Bio

As a Retired 1SG, United States Army (Combat Veteran), business owner, wife, mother, and grandmother, I enjoy crossing 'T's and dotting the 'I's, not to mention tracking the history of United States Citizens through Ancestry and Find-A-Grave.

After the recent death of my Mother, I was surprised to find how many of our family members were not connected through the resource provided by Find-A-Grave, and how hard it is for family members to have a photo of a cemetery headstone, or track family plots when one lives far away, or is dislocated by states from cemeteries.

Members or users of Find A Grave are welcome to use any photos that I have posted to memorials. I rarely upload them all to the cemetery, rather I like to visit the person, attach the photo, and leave a flower on their memorial. The process is time consuming but I enjoy acknowledging all of our ancestors. If I have created a memorial for one of your family members and you would like to maintain it for future descendants, just reach out and I will gladly transfer the memorial ID to you.

The people I come I contact with in this forum touch me as I get to know their relatives and learn about their background. Hopefully, my efforts to honor and remember those who have passed will help future descendants track their ancestors. In essence, I hope to
make a positive difference in someone's life!
