I am Donna Jane Herring Clinger the only child born to Donald Brook Herring and Myrtle Jane Reece Herring who were raised in Cherokee and Pickens County, Ga on September 18, 1975. My parents moved to Hampton, Ga Henry County after they married and I was raised there and have found my way back home as an adult.

I have recently began to trace my families roots in hope to preserve our history for all generations to come. It has been a difficult process because of the lack of family records. I have been relying greatly on other resources such as census', genealogy websites etc.

Surnames of my family members include but definately arent limited to Herring, Reece, Shipman, Samples, Morris, Dorsey, Reed, and Akin, Wade.
