Bonnie Thomason Gleason was born in Frederick, Okla. October 18, 1929, the daughter of Jim and Bertha Thomason. I graduated from Frederick High School in 1947. After 16 years of teaching at the elementary level I taught at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma nine years and at the University of Arkansas Monticello campus for ten years. I retired from UAM in 2002 and moved to Overland Park. Kansas where I supervised elementary pre-service teachers in their science and reading practicums for eight years. I enjoy being close to my children and grandchildren and do a lot of volunteer work for my church and community.
