Bio

Retired, finally, I can write! That is, when I'm not working at church, going on mission trips, gardening, or volunteering for the many projects I support.
I was a chaplain in the army reserves for almost twenty-five years. During that time, I deployed four times for war support. My book, Gateway to Iraq, A Chaplain's Story, gives a passionate account of encounters with America's finest, the American military.
For thirty years, I journeyed with my husband, an active-duty Air Force chaplain. We moved to ten different locations, Boston, Germany, Las Vegas, Turkey, Georgia, California, Azores, Georgia again, Phoenix, and Florida. We settled in Navarre, Florida, where we enjoy the beauty of the area and the people.

Creation Care is a passion of mine. It combines my love of God and His creation with our need to care for it. I teach how healthy soil impacts the health of us all and will fortify hunger solutions both in the impoverished world and our opulent world of convenience.
Did I mention I raise chickens?
