I am from Minnesota and have been doing my family history for 10 years. I am interested in hearing about any information about the Routt family around Northumberland / Stafford, VA.

I contacted the priest at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Heathsville, VA. She informed me that there are no graves there prior to 1881. The "parish" existed as a geographical entity before 1881 but the Church did not. The only graves there are from 1881 and later.
