My Moma & I always talked about tracking down our ancestors and documenting it for our family. We never actually got started and she passed away very unexpectedly in August 2012. She not only was my Moma but my best friend and she would have loved this. I really had a hard time this Mother's Day. I took flowers I made to my boyfriend's mothers grave and recognized some names from his family tree. I walked around and took pics of his family and I aM now hooked. It is a way to pay tribute to my Moma and all others who have already passed.

I live on the line of Limestone and Lauderdale counties in Alabama and less than 5 miles from Giles County, TN. I would like to eventually get all requests within a 10 mile radius of me but I am new at this, so I know it's gonna take time. Have a Blessed Day! ~Mel
