I've always teased my mother for "chasing dead people" but I recently found a family record book with my ancestors, dating all the way back to the 1600s and reading through it has been pretty fun! My mother has done a pretty good job searching through her side of the family, so now I'm just having fun updating people I'm finding on my dad's side. I am a member of the DAR, but I've never been active. Maybe one day! :)
