I grew up in Plymouth, Yarmouth County, NS as a Gray surrounded by Grays.
One of my favourite places to be is in an old cemetery ... I could spend all day just reading the stones. It makes me incredibly sad to see the state some of them are in, broken and neglected or so deteriorated or covered in lichen that you can't even read them anymore. I do my best to clean them up when I can, there just isn't enough time in the world.
I believe in being thorough, in life and in research. I don't like to see a job half done, I believe that anything worth doing is worth doing well. I try to research every stone I submit as thoroughly as I can for exact dates, places, and relationships. If you submit a stone to any cemetery I've started, please do the same.
Likewise, if you notice any errors or omissions I've made please let me know so I can correct it asap.
