I got involved in Find A Grave while working on my family tree. I tried to find pictures of the headstones of my family/ancestors and discovered that many memorials had no pictues available. I also discovered that I had information that was not included in several of the memorials. For that reason, I began asking for transfers to me for maintenance of these memorials. My reasons for desiring to maintain these memorials is only to provide family links and pictures/information I have come across during my genealogical research. If anyone wishes to have a memorial transferred or if any of my transfer requests are not granted, I fully understand.

I will create memorials when I discover a need and have the necessary information. I do not have the time nor the desire to set any records in creating or maintaining memorials. I am only interested in maintaining those memorials with which I have a family connection.

I live in Cleveland, Tennessee and am glad to take any pictures of headstones or cemetery signs, etc in the area. Just send the request and I'll do what I can when I can. If you want original photos of any pictures I take for you before they are cropped or reduced in size, just send me your email address and I will try to comply. I usually keep them for about a month before I delete them. I hereby grant permission for any non-commercial use of any photo I post or send to anyone.
