Wilmington salary Roll March 1946; transferred to Nylon Research Laboratory, DuPont's Experimental Station Wilmington, Delaware,April 1948; Married Aug.18, 1951 Lt.(jg)Stephen Potter DeMallie, USNR;Lived 2 years Brooklyn, NY;Moved to Charlotte, NC ,1953; to present location in 1954;two sons;Volunteer work; AAUW, 1960-1980, president 1972-74;League for Family Service Board 14 years,also president; Two Mayors- appointee to Board of Community Mental Health for 16 years;president Scout Mothers,Troop 4, Bloomfield,NJ; 30 years worked at polls; Order Eastern Star of N.J.; Daughters of American Revolution; Life member of Alpha Sigma Alpha,a national sorority founded by 5 young women from my county in Virginia over 100 years ago.
