I've been researching my family roots since Dec. 2008.
I officially started when my maternal Grandfather died & my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was something she & I had both always wanted to do, & I thought it would be a wonderful way to create memories for both of us. Sadly she passed away in 2010.
My ancestors were from the Carolina's & beyond & settled in the North Ga Mountain area, I am attempting to find more info on them through this website.
