If you have time, please say a prayer & place a memento on the graves of my loved ones who gave me LIFE:
MOM Dorothy Husar Krosky (1921 - 2002), above, with Cathy Krosky "little me"
DAD Mike Krosky (1919 - 2000)
GRANDMA ANNA Anna Husar (1895 - 1966)
GRANDPA JOHN John Husar (1887 - 1965)
GRANDMA MARY Mary Krosky (1885 - 1988)
GRANDPA SAM Sam Krosky (1880 - 1938)

Lord Jesus Christ, let the light of your glory shine within us, and lead us through the darkness of this world to the radiant joy of our eternal home. Amen.

POPE FRANCIS' PRAYER INTENTION JULY 2022
We pray for the elderly who represent the ROOTS and MEMORY of a people; may their experience and wisdom help young people to look toward the future with hope and responsibility.

Though danger lurks on every side, In Christ our Lord we will abide.
Our God is strong, our hope is sure—In Him alone we are secure.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.

REVELATION 21:4
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.

IRISH BLESSING
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields and, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

THROUGH ALL GENERATIONS
Loving Lord, You are the Lord of all time and space,
so I pray for my family through all generations,
those who have lived, those who are living, those who are yet to be born.
And I ask that You would touch us and heal us, Lord,
in all the ways You know we are most in need of healing.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all of us in Your care.

WE REMEMBER THEM by Sylvan Kamens & Rabbi Jack Riemer
At the rising sun and at its going down, we remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, we remember them.
At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring, we remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer, we remember them.
At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of the autumn, we remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends, we remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us
as we remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength, we remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart, we remember them.
When we have decisions that are difficult to make, we remember them.
When we have joy we crave to share, we remember them.
When we have achievements that are based on theirs, we remember them.
For as long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us
as we remember them.

DAY BY DAY
By St. Richard of Chichester
Thank You, Lord Jesus,
for all the benefits and blessings which You have given me,
for all the pains and insults which You have borne for me.
Merciful Friend, Brother and Redeemer,
may I know You more clearly, love You more dearly and follow You more nearly,
day by day.

LOVED ONES
By Dorothy Ann Husar Krosky 11/9/1979
When thoughts of loved ones suddenly appear
In the wheels of the mind, we'll hold them dear.
But we cannot dwell too long in this one place
For there is much in life that we must face.
We must carry on in the days of change
For life, another pattern, does arrange.

THE CYCLE OF LIFE
By Dorothy Ann Husar Krosky
Amid the fury of the storm, I've been uprooted; here I lay.
Soon to be cut up and carried away.
I once was an acorn; how I did grow
Standing ever so tall with nowhere to go.
My limbs were filled with leaves of green in the spring.
A fullness to my being, it did bring.
For a moment in time, I was a beautiful sight.
A burst of color, an autumn delight.
But by the end of December, all leaves had blown free
And I was naked, as naked can be.
I've seen the sun shine and felt the wind blow
Along with the soft touch of snow.
I've seen many a car go by
But around my trunk, no one ever a ribbon did tie.
Over the fence, in the neighbor's yard, a swimming pool I see
Out of reach, yet a mere twenty-five feet from me.
I've listened and I have heard
The song of many a different bird.
I've held squirrels while they scurry around.
Heard them chatter on the ground.
My roots now lie exposed, in full view.
Soon I'll be bidding the world a fond adieu.

REMEMBRANCES
By Elaine Caldwell, Detroit Michigan
I unpacked some boxes from under the stairs
That were sitting all dusty, for so many years
Not knowing what treasures that I would uncover
Imagine my pleasure, when I did discover...

Some pictures and film, from thirty years past
And other mementos, that I had amassed
Looking at faces, a hard fact would dawn
that most of these people I knew, were now gone.

A sadness and quiet enveloped, that day
As I went through the photos and put them away
My family and loved ones so gentle and kind
Went on, but their presence is etched in my mind.

They will be remembered, this box will be found
Someday in the future when I'm not around
And grandkids will look at the photos and see
The picture and film that were taken, by me.

ROOTS AND WINGS
By Hodding Carter
There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children:
One of these is ROOTS; the other, WINGS.

THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE
By C. S. Lewis
Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of His roar, sorrows will be no more,
When He bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when He shakes His mane, we shall have spring again.

COINS ON A HEADSTONE
The deceased soldier's family knows that somebody stopped by, quite literally, to pay their respects. The tradition became popular in the USA during the Vietnam War.
- A penny means you visited.
- A nickel means that you and the soldier trained at boot camp together.
- A dime means you served with the soldier.
- A quarter means that you were there when the soldier was killed.

Only in the Mystery of the Cross do we accept a vulnerability beyond all expectations—accepting that even the tragic loss of a newborn baby has meaning & purpose within the Providence of a loving God.
