I grew up in Camden, Alabama in Wilcox County. I now live in the Birmingham area. I spent a good deal of time researching family history in 1997 and 1998, especially my Bridges line. After a 14-year hiatus, I am now back on the trail. The vast majority of my ancestors have been in Wilcox County for nearly 200 years, although I have some connections to Conecuh, Monroe, and Marengo Counties in Alabama, as well as Santa Rosa County, Florida.
