Bio

The adventure began when I inherited photos, letters and many old papers. I began organizing the information and as they say the rest is history. Actually, the rest has become my future, living with history and discovery. I love road trips, walking in nature and learning about the history of various people, places and things people have built. I traveled to several locations and began researching at libraries, on line and piecing together collected information about my ancestors like a jigsaw puzzle.

I had mixed feelings that at times overwhelmed me. I saw grave sites that were deteriorated, sinking or sometimes damaged.  I could not be sure of family names or dates due to the weathering.  Looking at my great grandmother's headstone covered with moss and a dried up plant placed there saddened me. I realized then that preservation is important. The Find A Grave site was a key part of my research. I connected with others that supported and encouraged my continued adventure. This was so rewarding to me in many ways. I soon decided to contribute and add photographs and memorials of my ancestors and for others.

I am currently researching: Avery, Baker, Bennet, Comstock, Crompton, Parrish, Sheehan
