I was born and raised in Llano, Texas. Both my father's and my mother's families migrated to Llano County in the mid to late 1800s, and branched out into the surrounding counties from there. I still consider it to be home, even though I have not live there in many years. My mother and Aunt Pearl were dedicated family historians and gave me a passion for expanding the knowledge of our pioneer families.
