Bio

While not claiming to be genealogists, my mother (folks called her Marble Minnie) and I traced many of our ancestors for her unusual calling: To make sure that everyone she knew or cared about as a child in South Carolina had a marker on their grave. She (#130103331) and Pop (#93030729) would spend months at the old house in Swansea, SC where she would visit cemeteries and talk to sextons and arrange the financial details with her favorite monument company. Pop was a saint who loved her to death, financed her foibles, and loved any excuse to spend time on his beloved acres on the Swansea pond. She had dozens of graves marked, but finding everyone in the family is an impossible task, of course. But we're working at it.
