Bio

About 15 years ago, i spent about a year researching my maternal grandmothers ancestry. What i found were several distant "cousins" who were more than happy to help me with names, dates, and even a wonderful family photo of my Nanny's mother, who died when she was only 24. What a blessing to have these people in my family come alive to me, even though many of the stories were so sad. Now, i am starting to look for my dad's family, and bit by bit, little clues and tiny keys will open up whole rooms full of discoveries. I was so happy to have come across this Find A Grave site, where i found the resting place of many of my grandmother's family, including the one whose portrait hangs on my livingroom wall, James "Jim" Brady. Though i never met him, as i wasn't born until 1948, i saw this portrait hanging on Grammy's wall when i was little, and now it is on my wall. What stories were there, what joys and sadnesses, in those years long ago? I trust that i will see them again one day, when i go to heaven to be with my Jesus, who loves us as He loved them, and holds us all close. o/
