I'm a published author, dabbling in 19th century photography, folklife and family history research. My family, the Farrell's, came to Cherry Twp. in 1829 from Ireland. The Kelley's came to Asylum Twp., Bradford Co. in 1840. The Boatman's came from France in the 1760's. My great-great-great-great-greatgrandfather fought in the Revolutionary War; and his wife was the first physician in North Western Lycoming Co. He was the first (white) settler of McHenry Twp., Lycoming Co. He had a daughter that was scalped by Indians in the early 19th century. I'm glad to help, but I'm not always able to go out and venture too far from the area.
