Bio

If you have any questions or further information, feel free to e-mail me. When I add or edit information on Find-A-Grave, I try to be extremely thorough in my research. Almost every grave I leave flowers on or edit belongs to someone related to me or someone in my family. I use census records, obituaries, and cemetery records for my information. Thanks for all you do!

Some ancestors' surnames (and locations are where they lived):

Anderson (Fife, Scotland & London, England)
Bobholz (Stargard, Pomerania* & Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA)
Christian (Stargard, Pomerania* & Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA)
Corneli (Hesse, Germany & St. Louis, Missouri, USA)
Coudy (Ireland & Montgomery County, Illinois, USA)
Damler (Lower Saxony, Germany & Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, USA)
Dobbratz (Sternin, Pomerania* & Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA)
Duehring (Brandenburg, Germany & Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA)
Howard (Colonial English settlers in Virginia & Maryland, USA)
Koch (Hesse, Germany & Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA)
McGavran (Colonial settlers in Maryland & Ohio, USA)
Morgan (Quakers who settled in North Carolina & Indiana, USA)
Shafer (Colonial German settlers in Pennsylvania & Indiana, USA)
Steinich (Silesia/Schlesien* & Wisconsin, USA)
Stevens (Colonial English settlers in Connecticut & Vermont, USA)
Thiede (Brandenburg, Germany & Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA)

*The area was once part of Germany/Prussia, but is now part of Poland, following WWII.

Crane is a surname I chose for myself after my divorce and also finding out I had no genetic ties to my birth surname. I chose it because it "felt right" and later discovered that I indeed had ancestors with that name from England.
