Fallen Graver

Sadly, Harriet W. Berry has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

A Middle Tennessean happy to keep an eye out for relatives of others, my hobby is searching for interesting grave shelters in small, rural cemeteries. Gravehouses, shelters, tents, rock tombs and cairns; they're all vanishing quickly, so will take them where I can find them, and appreciate your suggestions. The motherlode of rock tents/combs, the Cumberland Plateau and Highland Rim, are my favorite stomping grounds.

Thanks to all of you who have added photos. I'm willing to fill photo requests in out-of-the-way places, as long as you're not in a hurry. If corrections are needed to memorials I've added, or if you would like additional information, please leave a message here or send email to my address.

You are welcome to use my photos for non-commercial purposes without obtaining my prior permission, as long as their use is within the rules and guidelines of Findagrave.com, and provided the ownership source is clearly stated each time.

I'm not directly related to many people for whom I've created memorials, so please feel free to ask for a transfer. If I have made a mistake on a memorial, and you can shed light on the subject, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Am always on the lookout for Berry (Hulme, Wiltshire, Vowell, Malone, Jefferson), Carothers (Turner, Potts, Nevins, Jordan, Whitsitt, Menees), Wilkerson (King, Barnes, Dowdy, Goodwin, Buchanan) and Rucker (all of the above, plus Bumpass, Morton, and everyone else in TN, KY, and VA).
