Bio
My father's family came from the Thousand Island Region of New York and Canada. MY mother's family came from Italy.
I am the 9th child of a family of 12 children. For the first nine years of my life, I lived in Rome, NY. The next six years were spent in Scriba and Oswego, NY living with my father and step-mother. When I was about to turn 16 years old (1958), I moved back to Rome, NY and lived with my mother until I graduated from Rome Free Academy in June, 1962.
After High School, I attended SUNY at Morrisville, NY for one year and then transferred to SUNY at Albany. I graduated from Albany in 1966 with a degree in accounting and education. Upon graduation, I taught for 2 years at VVS Central High School in Upstate New York. In 1968, I moved to Dutchess County, NY where I taught Accounting and Banking and ran their Work Experience Program at the Dutchess County BOCES Occupational Center until 1998 when I retired.
Now I am retired, living in Rhinebeck, NY. My wife and I have three grown children.
