I am back doing this research as I love doing this. I have been very busy over the last few years, but I am back to entering data. I find the information to be interesting, and I love doing the research to find the information.

I have lived in Michigan all my life; 4 grown boys, 2 daughters-in-law, and 2-significant girlfriends; 4 grandchildren.

I have done genealogy for over 9 years. Started out to locate what my husbands last name would have been if the grandmother had not changed it. It was a Polish name, but no one in the family knew what it really was. It seems that g-grandpa left, and likely went back to Poland.

My next quest was to locate some of his relatives. Actually found a family with 5 children that a relative had been searching to find for over 10 years! Bet I was excited. I found them in the Germans to America book on my lunch hour. Could hardly concentrate the rest of the day.

It has been a journey, and found some very interesting things. Traced one of my Harvey lines back to the 1400's. I love to research, which is why I really like Find A Grave, and have offered to Volunteer.

I like to use Find A Grave as a validation for my familial research. It is a wonderful help. My favorite site, in fact!
