I am fairly new to the whole genealogy thing, having just recently began (again) researching my family roots. Most of my ancestors seem to be from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. Some of the surnames I am working on include Davis, Smith, Bean, Banta, and Glasgow.

Researching family history is fascinating to me. Although I haven't been able to find every 'piece of the puzzle', I have definitely been able to get a 'bigger picture'. I think it's important for us, and our descendants, to know where we came from; who is in our family tree. Good or bad, it's how we got where we are today.

Please feel free to send me a msg. if you have any info., or have a question for me.
