Born in Northampton (Florence)on 10/30/1939. I have 3 brothers Richard Leigh, David Stockwell, Donald Hunt ..all Bartlett's and a half brother Royal Hayward and two sisters Mary Tannatt and Caroline Stockwell Bartlett. My father was Richard Leigh Bartlett and grandfather was Frank Alden Bartlett and gr. grandfather was Edwin Patterson Bartlett all born at West Farms/Northampton. My ancestor Robert Bartlett and wife Ann Warringer came to Cambridge in Sept.1632 on the ship "Lyon". In 1636 became 1st settlers of Hartford, Ct, in 1655/56 became 1st settlers of Northampton. Robert was killed by Indians (King Philips War) on 03/14/1676. Our family lived in/around Northampton for 300 years. I live in Jacksonville, NC after retiring from NOAA/NWS in 1994.
